About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive B2B business development, acquire new customers and build long-term business relationships.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B sales, new client acquisition, lead generation, client handling, commercial negotiations and business closure.

This role is suitable for a target-oriented sales professional who can independently manage the sales cycle and contribute directly to business and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new B2B business opportunities through cold calling, LinkedIn, market research, references and networking.
- Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, business discussions and regular follow-ups.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate internally for suitable product and commercial proposals.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, RFQs and tenders.
- Handle commercial discussions, negotiations and business closure.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and track opportunities through different stages.




- Monitor competitor activities, market pricing, customer requirements and industry trends.
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences and customer meetings as required.
- Maintain accurate customer, lead and sales information through CRM/MIS systems.
- Develop long-term business relationships and identify opportunities for repeat and additional business.

Candidate Profile

- 5+ years of experience in Business Development / B2B Sales / Industrial Sales / Corporate Sales.
- Strong experience in new client acquisition and business development.
- B2B sales experience is preferred.
- Experience in food ingredients, flavours & fragrances, FMCG, chemicals, manufacturing or related industries will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Confident in cold calling, client meetings, follow-ups and sales closure.
- Strong relationship-building and client-handling abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of sales targets.
- Good command of English.
- Comfortable using CRM, MS Excel and sales reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, exhibitions, trade fairs and business development activities as required.
- Jaipur-based candidates are preferred.
