Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Consultant Surgical Oncologist to diagnose and provide comprehensive surgical management for patients with various types of cancer. The candidate should have strong expertise in oncological surgical procedures and multidisciplinary cancer care.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate and diagnose patients with various malignant and oncological conditions.
- Develop appropriate surgical treatment plans based on clinical assessment, imaging, pathology, and staging.
- Perform cancer-related surgical procedures according to the area of specialization.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative care of oncology patients.
- Perform major and complex oncological surgeries as per expertise.
- Review and interpret CT, MRI, PET-CT, pathology, and other relevant investigations.
- Coordinate with Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Radiologists, Pathologists, and other specialists.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board discussions.




- Manage post-operative complications and provide appropriate follow-up care.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, surgical options, risks, prognosis, and recovery.
- Maintain accurate medical records, operative notes, and clinical documentation.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
- Participate in emergency and on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

- MBBS + MS/DNB in General Surgery + M.Ch/DNB in Surgical Oncology from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical registration.
- Relevant experience in Surgical Oncology preferred.
- Strong surgical and clinical decision-making skills.
- Positive communication and patient-counselling skills.
