What would you do This position will be responsible for selecting and contracting the suppliers in support of spot buy transactions to ensure fair value on the purchase and savings to the client. You will be working as a part of Procurement management team which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable They are involved in the identification of need finding and qualifying the suppliers requesting proposals negotiating with suppliers contracting delivery and analyzing resultsA systematic approach used for buying all the goods and services needed for a particular project or for the company generally to stay sustainable.It consists of: the identification of need; finding and qualifying the suppliers; requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results; and contract close.
What are we looking for Graduation or Post-Graduation with 3-4 years of prior procurement experience Positive communication and presentation skills. Strong understanding of latest Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Ariba
Roles and Responsibilities: Meet service levels as agreed with the client on TAT AccuracyEnsure quality of the process is upheld at all timesPropose process improvement ideas and lead improvement project till closureUnderstanding of Operational Excellence practices and driving the behavior on the floor is requiredEnsure SLAs pertaining to TAT and Quality are maintained as per agreed service levelsEnsure productivity of the team is achieved on a consistent basisEnsure all issues and escalations are tracked, monitored reported as per the frequent intervals set
