Electronics Design- Senior Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

- Experience in leading power electronic product design and development projects.
- Good knowledge of electronic product design and development processes, from requirements gathering through final delivery.
- Robust fundamentals in semiconductor switches (MOSFET, IGBT), gate drivers, passive components, ADC/DAC, filters, connectors, PCBs, parasitics, and magnetic components.
- Strong understanding of electronic components, analog circuits, and digital circuits.

Hands-on experience in designing and analyzing at least one type of power converter:

- AC-DC
- DC-DC
- DC-AC
- AC-AC

Good understanding of sensors and electromechanical components, including:

- Position sensors
- Temperature sensors
- Gyro sensors
- RTDs
- Current sensors
- Resolvers
- Motor encoders
- Solenoids
- BLDC/PMSM motors
- RL/Electronic loads
- Dynamometers
- Hands-on experience with signal conditioning, operational amplifiers (Op-Amps), filters, and ADC front-end circuits.




- Hands-on experience in schematic updates using Mentor Graphics and PCB design/layout reviews.
- Hands-on experience with power estimation, thermal management solutions, and their impact on EMI/EMC compliance (DO-160, MIL-STD-461/704).

Experience with serial communication protocols such as:

- CAN
- I2C
- SPI
- UART

Expertise in using laboratory test equipment, including:

- Digital Multimeters (DMM)
- Oscilloscopes
- Data Loggers
- Hands-on experience in writing test plans, test procedures, and technical reports.
- Experience in board bring-up activities and Design Verification Testing (DVT).
- Experience in motor controller development using high-performance microcontrollers and/or FPGA is preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

Work Experience

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electricals, instrumentation, communications and 7 to 10 years of relevant experience OR
- Advance degree and 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
