Roles and Responsibilities :
- Conduct mechanical metallurgy tests on raw materials, fasteners, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards (ASTM, NABL).
- Perform microstructure analysis using various techniques such as optical microscopy, SEM/EDS, XRD to identify defects and anomalies.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for corrosion testing of industrial equipment and machinery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues related to material failure or degradation.
Job Requirements :
- 4-6 years of experience in mechanical metallurgy or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of ASTM, NABL, UTM, NDT methods for material analysis.
- Proficiency in lab testing techniques including tensile testing, corrosion testing, microstructure examination.
