Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications through rigorous testing and validation processes.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Identify, record, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on software usability and functionality.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely impact existing functionality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,



Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Proficient in testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
