Role Descriptions: Database Administration Install| configure| and upgrade IBM DB2 and manage database objects. Configure database instances and storage structures. Maintain development| testing| and production environments. Performance Tuning Monitor database performance and resource SQL execution plans. Optimize queries| indexes| and database locking| blocking| and deadlock issues. Backup & Recovery Develop and execute backup database recovery and archived logs and recovery testing. Ensure compliance with RPO/RTO requirements. High Availability & Disaster Recovery Configure and maintain HADR environments. Implement failover solutions. Conduct DR drills and recovery testing. Support business continuity & Troubleshooting Proactively monitor database health. Analyze database alerts and logs. Troubleshoot system performance issues. Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams. Database Security Manage database users and privileges. Implement security best practices.
