About Northstar
Northstar Robotics is a San Francisco–based physical AI company with teams in India and Brazil. We build the reliability layer for real-world robots: trained operators step in remotely when a robot struggles, and every one of those sessions becomes training data that makes robots better. Our Bhubaneswar team runs a core part of that operation.
What you’ll do
• Run daily teleoperation data recording: schedule sessions, assign operators, and make sure recording targets are hit every week
• Manage and grow the local team, including operators, field staff, and coordinators: hiring, training, shift planning, and performance
• Work on business development: find new partners and clients, pitch Northstar, and help close and onboard them
• Work with our systems and IT team on data quality, so recordings arrive complete, labeled correctly, and on time
• Manage vendor payments, site payouts, and the local operations budget




• Report weekly metrics (hours recorded, active sites, quality issues, cost per hour) to leadership in SF

What we’re looking for
• Some experience in operations, team coordination, or business development. Internships, college leadership roles, or running your own projects all count.
• Someone who takes ownership, follows through, and doesn’t need to be told twice
• Comfortable leading a team and speaking confidently with partners and clients
• Fluent in Odia, Hindi, and English
• Good with spreadsheets and quick to pick up recent tools
• Curious about robotics and AI (no technical background needed)
