MEP Project Lead / MEP Subject Matter Expert

Experience

10+ years of relevant MEP design, execution and project management experience.

Role Overview

Lead the end-to-end MEP scope for large-scale building projects, covering design coordination, procurement, execution, testing, commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead MEP activities from design development to final handover.
- Review and coordinate MEP drawings, SLDs, schematics, BOQs, specifications and technical submissions.
- Manage coordination across HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, ELV, BMS, STP/WTP and ventilation.
- Coordinate MEP works with architecture, structure, interiors and civil to resolve clashes and execution issues.
- Review contractor/vendor proposals, shop drawings, material submittals and method statements.
- Monitor site execution, quality, progress, manpower and material requirements.
- Support procurement through review of technical specifications, approved makes and vendor proposals.
- Lead testing, commissioning, snagging and handover, including as-builts, O&M; manuals and warranties.




- Identify design gaps and execution risks and provide practical technical solutions.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and client representatives.
- Ensure compliance with NBC, IS, NFPA, local regulations and project specifications.
- Core Expertise

Strong working knowledge of:
HVAC | Electrical | Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm | Plumbing | ELV | BMS | STP/WTP | Ventilation | Kitchen/Laundry Services

Preferred Project Experience

Experience in Hotels, Hospitality, Malls, Commercial Buildings, Corporate Offices, High-end Fit-outs, Renovation/Retrofit projects will be preferred.

Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong MEP design, coordination and site execution expertise.
- Ability to independently review drawings, BOQs and technical specifications.
- Robust vendor/contractor management and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience in testing, commissioning and project handover.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit/BIM and MEP coordination tools will be an advantage.
