What You'll Be Doing → Job Scope

This job involves providing technical expertise in relief design to ensure our facilities meet safety standards and regulations.



It requires experience in relief design and knowledge of documentation needs. This person will be responsible for promoting consistency, accuracy and record retention for relief valve specification and sizing. This position requires working closely with manufacturing teams, safety experts, engineers, and the capital project team. The engineer will be part of the Hyderabad Process Safety Engineering group and will focus on pressure and vacuum protection systems/relief valve design.

As they advance in their career, this role can lead to more complex tasks like designing relief systems for distillation processes, training new hires, and rating heat exchangers capacities. They may also lead specific relief projects and work closely with site leaders, coordinating with different teams and engineers.
