Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Beam Saw Operator to set up and operate industrial panel cutting machines at our production facility. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting wooden sheets, MDF, and plywood into accurate dimensions based on technical drawings and optimization lists.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating advanced, automated beam saw machinery from Homag, Biesse, or KDT.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, program, and run computerized beam saw machines (Homag, Biesse, or KDT) to execute precise panel cutting.

• Blueprint Reading: Interpret production drawings, cut lists, and optimization software layouts to maximize material yield.

• Quality Control: Measure and inspect finished pieces using calipers and tape measures to ensure strict compliance with quality tolerances.

• Basic Maintenance: Perform daily machine cleaning, blade inspections,



and routine calibrations to prevent downtime.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to factory safety protocols and keep the workstation organized.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience operating automated beam saws specifically from Homag, Biesse, or KDT.

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting patterns.

• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (millimetres and inches).

• Physical stamina to handle heavy wood panels and stand for extended shifts.
