Job Description – Accounts Executive (Logistics Billing & Operations)

Position: Accounts Executive
Location: Chembur East, Mumbai
Industry: Logistics / Freight Forwarding

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive to handle customer invoicing and accounting activities related to export and import operations. The candidate should have knowledge of logistics billing, forwarding accounting procedures, and basic accounting principles. Experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process customer invoices for export and import shipments based on all INCOTERMS.
Handle billing activities related to air and sea freight operations.
Maintain accurate accounting entries and records.
Coordinate with operations and customer service teams for billing verification.
Process freight, CHA, transportation, and logistics-related invoices.




Ensure timely invoicing and payment follow-ups.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices and accounts records.
Support daily accounting and reconciliation activities.
Generate reports using MS Excel and accounting software.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
Robust understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.
Knowledge of Tally or any accounting software.
Basic understanding of logistics billing such as freight, CHA, and transportation billing.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Robust attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
