Job Responsibilities:

Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair activities in Blast Furnace (BF), Sinter and DRI plant areas*.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Inspect, troubleshoot and repair machinery to ensure smooth plant operations.

Handle maintenance of equipment such as conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, rollers, shafts, couplings and other mechanical systems*.
Perform equipment dismantling, assembly, alignment and replacement of mechanical components.
Identify mechanical faults and take corrective action to minimize equipment downtime.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and SOPs.
Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams during breakdowns and shutdown activities.
Ensure proper use of tools, tackles and safety equipment.
Maintain workplace safety and follow all plant safety procedures.




Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues to the supervisor.
Ensure proper housekeeping at the work location.

Candidate Requirements:

ITI – Fitter* qualification is mandatory.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience* in mechanical maintenance.

Experience in Steel Plant / Blast Furnace / Sinter / DRI* will be preferred.
Valuable knowledge of mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment handling.
Ability to work in shifts and during plant breakdown/shutdown activities.
Solid focus on safety and preventive maintenance

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
