Job Description – Internal Auditor

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Reporting To: Internal Audit Manager / CFO / Management

Key Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits of financial, operational, and business processes.
Review accounting records, transactions, invoices, expenses, and supporting documents.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk-management procedures.
Identify control weaknesses, financial irregularities, process gaps, and potential fraud risks.
Verify compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable laws.
Perform stock, cash, bank, purchase, sales, and expense audits as required.
Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other financial processes.
Perform reconciliations and investigate unusual or unexplained differences.
Prepare audit working papers, observations, and detailed audit reports.
Discuss audit findings with relevant departments and recommend corrective actions.
Follow up on previous audit observations and monitor implementation of corrective actions.
Conduct periodic branch, warehouse,



inventory, and operational audits where applicable.
Assist management in improving processes, reducing costs, and strengthening controls.
Maintain proper audit documentation and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
Understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, and audit procedures.
Good knowledge of Excel and accounting/ERP software.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid attention to detail.
Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate financial irregularities.
Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CA / CIA or equivalent qualification.
1–5 years of experience in internal audit, accounting, or finance.
Experience in Tally / SAP / ERP systems is an advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
