We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for our Ghitorni office. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience in Tally Prime, GST invoicing, MS Excel, banking transactions, and basic taxation.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and maintain Purchase Orders (P.O.) and Proforma Invoices (P.I.).
· Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime, including:
o Sales & Purchase o Stock entries o Receipts & Payments o Journal entries
· Maintain ledgers, books of accounts, and outstanding statements.
· Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and ensure accurate bank entries.
· Follow up with dealers/customers for pending payments and outstanding dues.
· Prepare and process GST invoices and assist in GST return preparation.
· Support TDS-related activities and coordinate with the CA/consultant for statutory compliance.
· Coordinate with the factory accounts team regarding stock reconciliation, billing, purchase and sales entries.
· Maintain proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, bills and other accounting records.
· Prepare regular MIS and accounting reports as required by management.
· Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all accounting transactions.
Required Skills
· Expert-level working knowledge of Tally Prime.
· Solid knowledge of GST invoicing and basic GST compliance.
· Positive command of MS Excel.
· Knowledge of TDS, BRS, ledger reconciliation and basic taxation.
· Good understanding of trading/manufacturing accounting processes.
· Strong numerical and analytical skills.
· Good communication and coordination skills.
· Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in financial records.
Eligibility
· B.Com or equivalent qualification.
· 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a trading or manufacturing company.
· Candidates should preferably be residing near Ghitorni / Chhattarpur / nearby areas for convenient commuting.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
