Key Responsibilities
Vendor Development & Sourcing:
Identify, audit, and onboard current mechanical and fabrication vendors (sheet metal, casting, aluminium extrusion, and hardware components).
Evaluate vendor manufacturing capabilities, machinery, labor strength, and quality systems.
Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and capacity commitments in coordination with the purchase/procurement team.
Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC):
Establish Incoming, In-process, and Pre-dispatch Quality Inspection plans (IQC, IPQC, OQC).
Conduct regular field and in office visits to vendor facilities for sample approvals and process audits.
Enforce compliance with international export quality standards, dimensions, surface finishes, and material grades (e.g., aluminium alloys, stainless steel, brass).
Root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action planning (CAPA) for customer complaints or rejected batches. [1, 2, 3]
Cross-Functional Coordination:




Work closely with the Design and Engineering teams (SolidWorks/AutoCAD specs) to ensure vendors understand technical drawings and bill of materials (BOM).
Coordinate with Logistics and Dispatch to ensure timely material delivery from vendor units to the main facility or export warehouse.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
