Role & responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 production support for applications hosted on AWS cloud.
Monitor production settings and proactively identify performance bottlenecks and service disruptions.
Troubleshoot application, server, database, network, and cloud infrastructure issues.
Manage incidents, service requests, problem management, and change management activities.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement preventive solutions.
Support deployment activities and release management during planned maintenance windows.
Monitor system health, logs, alerts, and application performance metrics.
Work closely with Development, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Security, and Database teams for issue resolution.
Ensure compliance with defined SLAs, OLAs, and operational procedures.
Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
Participate in on-call support and 24x7 production support rotations.
Implement automation to reduce manual operational efforts and improve system reliability.
