About the Role

Home Bots Automation is looking for a Business Development Manager to grow our home automation business through architects, interior designers, builders, developers and HNI clients.

This is a field-based, relationship-driven sales role focused on getting Home Bots solutions specified at the project/design stage and converting those prospects into business.

Key Responsibilities
Build relationships with architects, interior designers, builders and developers.
Identify upcoming residential and luxury projects.
Introduce and specify Home Bots automation solutions in projects.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, site visits and product demonstrations.
Develop HNI/luxury homeowner opportunities.
Build partnerships with lighting, electrical, AV, HVAC, security and interior companies.
Manage the sales pipeline from lead → specification → proposal → negotiation → order.
Coordinate with technical and project teams for smooth execution.




Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.

Requirements
3–8 years of experience in business development / specification sales / consultative sales.
Experience in home automation, electrical, lighting, AV, interiors, real estate, building materials or MEP preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Strong networking and relationship-building ability.
Valuable follow-up and sales pipeline management skills.
Comfortable meeting architects, builders and HNI clients.
Willingness to travel for client and project meetings.

Knowledge of KNX, Lutron, Crestron, Savant, RTI or similar automation systems is an advantage.

Compensation

Salary: Based on experience and market standards

Incentives: Performance-based
