Role & responsibilities
Oversee daily canteen operations, including food preparation, service, cleaning, and overall housekeeping.
Identify capital requirements for kitchen equipment, appliances, infrastructure, and other canteen facilities.
Ensure effective operations and timely food service to meet employee/customer requirements.
Supervise kitchen, service, and housekeeping staff and allocate duties effectively.
Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower availability.
Prepare and monitor the canteen's operating budget and revenue requirements.
Track food costs, consumption, wastage, and operational expenses.
Ensure food quality, taste, freshness, nutritional standards, and portion sizes meet organizational requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable food safety and hygiene regulations
Preferred candidate profile Any Graduate. Experience in managing canteen in an industrial setup.
