Experience: 9–12 years total; 4+ years in embedded/Linux middleware; prior RDKV or equivalent media middleware strongly preferred.
MustHave Skills
Robust C/C++ with data structures, multithreading, synchronization, lockfree patterns a plus.
Deep Linux internals familiarity (process, memory, IPC, timers, epoll, signals).
Handson with GStreamer pipelines, codecs, DRM flows, and performance tuning.
Practical Thunder/IPC service design and debugging.
Proven ability to land features and resolve highseverity production issues.
NicetoHave
Exposure to SoC SDKs (Broadcom, Amlogic, MediaTek, etc.), hardware acceleration, secure video path.
Observability pipelines (structured logging, metrics, tracing) and crash analytics.
RDK OSS contributions or upstream experience.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/EE/CE or equivalent practical experience.
