Directly manage, calibrate, and repair specialized eye-care machines, including:
Diagnostic & Imaging Tools: Slit Lamps, Auto Refractometers, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Visual Field Analysers (HFA), and Fundus Cameras.
Core Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance & Calibration: Perform delicate sensor calibrations and optical alignments to ensure diagnostic precision.
Operation Theatre (OT) Support: Ensure surgical microscopes, lasers, and fluidic systems are functional prior to scheduled eye surgeries.
Vendor and AMC Management: Coordinate with global ophthalmic manufacturers (e.g., Zeiss, Alcon, Topcon) for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and complex software upgrades.
Data & System Integration:
Ensure imaging devices seamlessly push eye scans and DICOM data to Ophthalmic Data Management Systems or Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Quality Compliance: Maintain thorough documentation to comply with medical standards like NABH or JCI.
Surgical Systems: Phacoemulsification (cataract surgery) systems, Vitrectomy machines, and Operating Microscopes.
Laser Systems: YAG, Retinal, and Refractive Lasers (LASIK / SMILE equipment).
