Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CAD Engineer / Design Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in CAD design and drafting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in creating, modifying, and maintaining accurate 2D/3D CAD models and engineering drawings, along with a good understanding of engineering design principles and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Create and modify detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models based on engineering requirements.
Develop accurate part, assembly, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, dimensions, and design requirements.
Prepare detailed drawings with appropriate GD&T;, tolerances, dimensions, and annotations.
Make design modifications and revisions based on engineering and manufacturing feedback.
Perform basic design calculations and ensure designs meet applicable engineering standards.
Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Production, and Engineering teams.
Maintain drawing/document revisions and ensure proper version control.
Support prototype development, testing, and design validation activities.




Identify and resolve design/drawing-related issues.
Ensure CAD designs are practical from a manufacturing, assembly, and serviceability perspective.
Prepare BOMs and other engineering documentation as required.
Follow company drafting standards, design procedures, and quality requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of professional experience in CAD/design engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with 2D and 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Inventor, or equivalent.
Robust understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and manufacturing processes.
Good knowledge of mechanical components, assemblies, and design principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
Experience in creating production-ready drawings and 3D models.
Positive understanding of DFM/DFA principles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Positive problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
