Job Summary

We are looking for a

Junior Android Developer with hands-on experience in Android application development. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of

Java/Kotlin, Android SDK, REST APIs, Room Database, and up-to-date Android development practices

.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications.
Upgrade, configure, debug, and enhance existing applications.
Develop new features and applications from scratch.
Integrate Android applications with server-side APIs and external data sources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improvements.
Identify and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and technical bottlenecks.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following development best practices.
Perform unit testing to ensure application reliability and robustness.
Ensure applications deliver optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness.




Create and maintain technical documentation.
Evaluate and implement current technologies to improve development efficiency.

Required Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience in Android application development.
Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin; Kotlin experience is an added advantage.
Good understanding of Android SDK.
Knowledge of Room Database and SQL queries.
Experience consuming REST/SOAP web services.
Good understanding of Retrofit / Volley for web service integration.
Experience handling JSON and XML responses.
Knowledge of Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
Experience with unit testing.
Proficiency in Git and Bitbucket.
Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cooperative team environment.
