Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
Build and enhance scalable UI automation frameworks.
Perform web application testing, including functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Develop and execute API automation tests.
Analyze test failures, identify defects, and work closely with developers for resolution.
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain test reports and ensure positive automation coverage.
Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and collaborate with development and QA teams.
Mandatory Skills
Robust hands-on experience with Playwright.
Robust programming/scripting knowledge in TypeScript.
Experience in UI/Web Automation Testing.
Good understanding of automation framework design, Page Object Model (POM), locators, waits, assertions, and reusable components.
Experience with API Testing using tools/frameworks such as Postman or Playwright API.
Knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Good understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, Agile/Scrum, and testing methodologies.
