Job Overview

Abhasa Rehab & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process, ensuring the well-being of our patients and providing essential support to our counseling staff. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a energetic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
Patient Support:
Provide emotional and social support to patients undergoing rehabilitation.
Monitor and assess the mentajl and emotional well-being of patients.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the counseling team to report patient progress and any concerns.
Collaborate with medical professionals to address the holistic needs of patients.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and progress.
Prepare reports and case notes for review by the counseling and medical staff.
Crisis Intervention:
Respond to and manage crisis situations effectively.
Implement crisis intervention strategies as required.




Education and Training:
Provide education and training to patients on coping strategies and life skills.
Conduct workshops or support groups as part of the rehabilitation program.
Team Communication:
Maintain open communication with colleagues and contribute to team meetings.
Participate in case conferences and treatment planning sessions.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
certification as a Social Worker.
Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Understanding of mental health issues and substance abuse disorders.
