Job Type: Infrastructure Support / System Administration

We are looking for an experienced Tandem / HPE NonStop Engineer to manage, administer, and support mission-critical enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with HPE NonStop (Tandem) operating systems, system administration, production support, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and support HPE NonStop (Tandem) operating systems.
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
Handle L2/L3 production support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
Perform system upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery operations.
Monitor and manage Spooler, NetBatch, EMS events, and system console operations.
Troubleshoot system performance issues and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
Support high-availability and mission-critical settings.
Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, change, and release management.
Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams.




Participate in rotational shifts, on-call support, and critical incident handling.

Mandatory Skills
Solid hands-on experience with Tandem / HPE NonStop OS.
Experience in system administration and production support.
Knowledge of system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Experience in incident management and root cause analysis.
Ability to support mission-critical enterprise systems.

Positive-to-Have Skills
Knowledge of Spooler, NetBatch, Expand, EMS events, and system console operations.
Experience with system upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery.
Scripting knowledge in Shell, Python, or similar tools.
Familiarity with ITIL processes.
Exposure to OpenVMS, Linux, cloud migration, or infrastructure modernization.

Candidate Requirements
8–12 years of total IT experience.
6–8 years of relevant experience as specified in the requisition.
Robust communication and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to work in a hybrid mode and attend a face-to-face interview in Chennai.
Ability to work during the specified shift timings.
