Job Summary The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for delivering technology solutions aligned with business needs. The position requires the ability to comprehend the business in order to manage and orchestrate projects and communicate the complexity in simple terms to technology teams. This role facilitates the breakdown and understanding of the technical components of a project.

Essential Duties/Responsibilites
Leads complex projects involving technology and business resources
Develops detailed project plans and achievements, identifies resource requirements, performance indicators, and status reports
Creates and maintains integrated project plans, incorporates updates and changes to the plans, and prepares reports and presentations for leadership review
Resolves issues and problems throughout the project life cycle Monitors, tracks, and controls outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables
Acts as a mediator between stakeholders and team members regarding project efforts
Coordinates with partners to oversee capacity needs for project efforts and effectively communicates status updates and challenges to diverse audiences
Completes evaluations post-project, identifying best pratices and process improvement opportunities

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience preferred

Work Experience
Typically 5+ years experience as a program or project manager, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex solutions, systems, or services in a software development workplace
Experience with Agile Methodologies

Licenses and Certifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects
Understanding of interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
Robust analytical, presentation and organizational skills
Ability to drive multiple project activities with varying complexity
Proficiency with Jira for project tracking, workflow management, and reporting
Excellent communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills
Robust problem-solving and quantitative skills
Demonstrable ability to manage people and resources, as well as work independently with limited supervision
