Role & responsibilities
Operate and program Wire Cut EDM machines as per approved drawings and specifications.
Prepare CNC/Wire Cut programs, machine settings, offsets, and cutting parameters.
Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements.
Perform job setting, alignment, clamping, and first-piece inspection.
Measure components using vernier, micrometer, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
Monitor machining quality, wire condition, dielectric water, and machine performance.
Troubleshoot basic programming, machine, and machining-related issues.
Maintain production records, minimize rejection, and ensure timely completion of jobs.
Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, machine SOPs, and 5S practices.
