About the Role

We are looking for a Solar O&M; Monitoring Engineer responsible for online monitoring of solar plants, inverter performance, generation analysis and troubleshooting. The role involves coordinating with site teams, O&M; contractors, OEMs and clients to ensure smooth plant operations and timely resolution of technical issues.

Job description:

- Update the daily inverter generation and meter report on Teams and prepare the monthly generation sheet for each plant with day-wise data.
- Prepare the plant-wise hourly kW sheet.
- Perform online monitoring of all plants and analyze generation graphs to identify performance issues.
- Diagnose inverter faults (grid faults, IGBT faults, fan alarms, offline inverters) and coordinate repair or replacement with OEMs and service teams (Solis, Sungrow).
- Process warranty claims for inverters and spare parts and track dispatch and receipt of replacement material (power module boards, fans, CTPT units).
- Perform online configuration of inverters,



including data logger installation and string configuration of plants.
- Follow up with O&M; contractors and site engineers on pending work and hold morning meetings with the O&M; contractor.
- Coordinate transformer and other electrical equipment issues (e.g., oil leakage, winding faults) with service engineers.
- Attend client meetings and plant overview meetings and address client queries and concerns.
- Share generation reports, monitoring login credentials and warranty certificates with clients and internal teams.
- Verify logbook details and confirm site stock with the purchase team.
- Prepare and maintain other required reports and documentation.

Knowledge requirements:

- Valuable knowledge of Solar PV plant O&M; and online monitoring.
- Knowledge of inverter operation, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting (Solis, Sungrow).
- Understanding of SCADA, data loggers, string configuration and generation analysis.
- Basic knowledge of transformers, HT/LT equipment and other electrical systems.
- Good knowledge of Excel, report preparation, OEM coordination and client communication.
