Job Description

We are looking for an experienced research professional with expertise in effluent treatment methodologies, environmental chemistry, and microbiological analysis. The candidate will be responsible for supporting research and development activities related to chemical and biological effluent treatment, process improvement, and microbiological testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and evaluate chemical and biological effluent treatment methodologies and provide solutions for effective wastewater treatment.
- Understand and work with catalytic and non-catalytic wet air oxidation processes for effluent treatment.
- Apply advanced oxidation processes for wastewater treatment and contaminant removal.
- Work with membrane filtration and other filtration technologies for effluent treatment.
- Supervise microbiological testing of raw materials,



finished products, and water samples.
- Maintain microbiology laboratories, cleanroom facilities, and bio-analytical laboratory infrastructure.
- Support microbiological analysis for R&D;, quality control, and plant operations.
- Stay updated on recent developments and technologies in effluent treatment and environmental chemistry.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemistry / Environmental Chemistry from a reputed institute.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Solid understanding of chemical and biological effluent treatment processes.
- Knowledge of advanced oxidation processes, wet air oxidation, and membrane filtration will be highly preferred.
- Experience in microbiological testing and laboratory management will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
