Job Summary: Smart Agro is seeking a dedicated and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee

sourcing, negotiation, and supply chain management for our agro-realty and high-end timber production

projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that procurement processes align with our mission of ecological

integrity and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Procurement:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, equipment, and

services.

- Source high-quality products and agro-related inputs from reliable suppliers.

2. Supplier Relationship Management:

- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality and sustainability standards.

Cost Optimization:

- Negotiate contracts to secure the best deals without compromising quality.
- Monitor market trends to forecast material costs and manage budgets effectively.

4. Compliance and Sustainability:

- Ensure all procurement practices comply with legal and environmental standards.
- Promote sustainable sourcing practices to align with SmartAgro’s ecological goals.

5. Inventory and Logistics:

- Coordinate with logistics teams for timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing waste and surplus.

6. Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with all managers, sales, and operational teams to understand requirements.
- Lead a small team of procurement specialists if necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,

Agriculture, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in agro-realty, agriculture, or timber

industries.

• Robust negotiation, Communication and analytical skills.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.

• Understanding of sustainability practices in procurement is a plus.

• Problem solving, decision making, Risk management, research and analysis

• Project team leadership
