Role & responsibilities

Clinical Care: Conduct physical examinations, assess medical histories, diagnose conditions, and execute treatment plans for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency departments.

Emergency & Resuscitation: Attend pediatric and neonatal emergencies, codes, and rapid response calls, performing procedures like pediatric life support.

Ward Rounds & Monitoring: Participate in daily ward rounds, track patient progress, and adjust care plans in collaboration with senior staff.

Supervision & Teaching: Guide, support, and oversee junior medical officers (House Officers), interns, and medical students. Communication: Update parents and caregivers on health status, treatment milestones, and discharge instructions with empathy and clarity. Administration & Records: Maintain accurate medical documentation, utilize electronic health records (EHR), and adhere to hospital safety and governance protocols
