Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement for interior, construction, architectural and engineering projects.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors, suppliers and contractors.
- Source materials such as civil materials, electrical items, plumbing materials, hardware, plywood, laminates, furniture, glass, aluminium, false ceiling materials, flooring, sanitaryware, fixtures and other interior materials.
- Obtain quotations, compare commercial terms and negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process purchase orders as per approved project requirements and budgets.
- Coordinate with Project, Design, Site, Planning and Accounts teams to understand material requirements.
- Ensure timely availability and delivery of materials at project sites.
- Monitor vendor performance, quality, pricing and adherence to delivery commitments.
- Develop alternative vendors and sources to maintain competitive pricing and avoid project delays.
- Track material orders from purchase to final delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, quotations, comparative statements and purchase documentation.
- Ensure procurement is aligned with BOQ, project specifications, drawings and approved materials.




- Control procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Coordinate with vendors for material samples, technical specifications and approvals.
- Handle vendor negotiations, rate contracts and long-term supplier relationships.
- Monitor market prices and keep updated on new materials, suppliers and industry trends.
- Support project teams in resolving material shortages, substitutions and urgent procurement requirements.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project timelines.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of building materials, interior materials and engineering products.
- Strong vendor development and negotiation skills.
- Excellent commercial and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and procurement requirements simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of BOQ, purchase orders, comparative statements and material specifications.
- Robust coordination and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and procurement/ERP systems.
- Ability to work under tight project deadlines.
