Role: Application Support Engineer – Crystal Reports
Experience: 4-8 Years
Location: NTT Data offices at Noida/Bangalore/Hyderabad

The role needs work from office on all working days and assigned shifts as per the 24x7 shift roster.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide support, maintenance, and enhancements for enterprise reporting solutions built using SAP BusinessObjects Crystal Reports. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in report development, SQL databases, troubleshooting, and production support while ensuring high availability and performance of business-critical reporting applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 support for Crystal Reports-based applications and reporting platforms.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, report failures, and data discrepancies within agreed SLAs.
- Analyze business requirements and develop/enhance Crystal Reports to support operational and management reporting needs.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA)



and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
- Optimize report performance, queries, and database interactions.
- Support application releases, deployments, and post-implementation validation.
- Collaborate with business users, developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
- Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in on-call and production support activities as required.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Crystal Reports development and support.
- Proficiency in SQL Server.
- Solid SQL, stored procedures, views, and query optimization skills.
- Experience in report design, report scheduling, and report distribution.
- Knowledge of production support, incident management, and problem management processes.
- Experience working with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
