Job Description:

- Design, develop, test, andmaintainRPG-based applications on IBMiplatforms.
- Lead enhancements and bug-fixes in Supply Chan Systems (SDS), withdeepunderstanding of order fulfillment, purchase orderprocessingand transportation operations.
- Develop and integrate Web Services, JSON, and Web API
- Translate business requirements into high-quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable code.
- Work collaboratively with Product Owners, QA, and multiple application and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end Supply Chain business solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and performance tuning of the applications.
- Modernize legacy RPG code (e.g., RPG III to RPG IV/ILE/Free Format) wherenecessaryensuring high performance and reliability.




- Analysing and debugging the existing RPG codes and create documentation based on the same for modernisation purpose.
- Create andmaintaintechnical documentation, including code reviews and release notes.
- Comply withChange Management, PCI, PII, SOX policies and best practices.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers.

Requirements

- 8+ years of RPG development experience.
- Strong hands-on with IBMi(AS/400, iSeries).
- Proficiencyin CL, DDS, DB2/400, and service programs.
- Strong performancetuning and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience integrating RPG with external systems via APIs/JSON.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain processes.
