About the Role

We are looking to hire a Sr Engineer who will serve as a tech lead. The tech lead for the Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team is a hands-on technical leader responsible for the architectural integrity, scalability, and performance of our backend ecosystem. This role bridges the gap between high-level solution architecture and engineering execution, owning the delivery of critical cloud infrastructure, edge routing, and Java-based micro-services

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Leadership & Core Backend: Lead the backend engineering track, driving code quality, architecture, and robust delivery using Java/J2EE and the Spring Framework for micro-services.

- Architecture, Cloud & Dev Ops: Partner with the Solution Architect to design and maintain high-availability systems leveraging AWS services, Cloudflare, and containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).

- AI-Driven Productivity: Champion the adoption of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Gemini, Copilot, Claude). The lead must be adept at utilizing these tools to rapidly learn and deliver on the job,



while actively coaching the development team to use them to maximize efficiency and output.

- Complex Problem Solving: Act as the primary technical problem solver for the team, translating complex business use cases and intricate requirements into scalable, clean, and highly performant technical solutions

About You

Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years in Enterprise Software Application Development

- Deep technical knowledge of enterprise software application development and enterprise cloud platforms (AWS Services, Cloudflare and containerization)
- Hands on experience troubleshooting technical issues on AWS platform end-to-end (Application, Database, Network & Integration layers)
Other Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager and content management system best practices
- Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and tackle sophisticated problems as well as provide documentation, mentorship and instruction to users. Proven ability to learn and embrace recent technologies, applications, and solutions.
