Job Description – Dance Teacher

Position: Dance Teacher
Salary: ₹30,000 per month
Qualification: Graduation
Experience: 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred

About the Role

GEMS Cambridge International School, Hoshiarpur, is looking for a passionate, creative, and energetic Dance Teacher to train students in various dance forms, encourage artistic expression, and contribute to the school’s cultural and extracurricular activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct engaging dance classes for students across different age groups.
- Teach various dance styles, including contemporary, Bollywood, classical, and other suitable forms.
- Prepare students for annual functions, cultural events, competitions, and school celebrations.
- Choreograph group and solo performances according to event requirements.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, rhythm, coordination, and teamwork among students.
- Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Coordinate with school management and other faculty members for performances and events.




- Maintain attendance records and follow school policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Graduation in any discipline; a dance-related qualification or certification will be an advantage.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in dance teaching or choreography preferred.
- Strong knowledge of different dance styles and choreography techniques.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with children of different age groups and skill levels.
- Creative, enthusiastic, and well-organized approach to teaching.
