We are looking for an experienced and responsible Canter Driver to operate commercial canter vehicles safely and efficiently. The driver will be responsible for timely delivery and collection of goods, proper vehicle handling, and compliance with traffic and company safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and operate the canter vehicle safely and responsibly.
- Transport goods to designated locations according to delivery schedules.
- Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Check the vehicle before and after each trip for basic safety and maintenance issues.
- Maintain delivery documents, trip sheets, fuel records, and other required paperwork.
- Follow all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good operating condition.
- Report accidents, vehicle breakdowns, damages,
or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Verify goods and delivery documents before departure and at the destination.
- Maintain skilled behavior with customers, staff, and other road users.
Requirements
- Valid LMV/HMV or applicable commercial driving licence.
- Previous experience driving a canter, commercial vehicle, or similar heavy/light commercial vehicle.
- Good knowledge of local and highway routes.
- Safe driving record and responsible attitude.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
- Good communication and punctuality.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month
