Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Science / Snowflake Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and Python to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development, data warehousing, data modeling, cloud platforms, and data analytics.

The candidate should be capable of transforming complex datasets into reliable, high-quality data assets while supporting analytical and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
- Build and optimize data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.
- Develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation workflows.
- Design and implement data models to support analytical and business requirements.
- Integrate data from multiple sources across cloud platforms and enterprise systems.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, quality checks, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouse usage, and data processing performance.
- Work with large datasets to support statistical analysis, data analytics, and machine learning use cases.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Implement best practices for data security, governance, reliability, and pipeline monitoring.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data.





Required Skills and Qualifications

- 5–10 years of experience in data engineering, data science engineering, or related data-focused roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
- Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data architecture.
- Experience with data transformation, data validation, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with data integration from multiple sources.
- Understanding of data analytics, statistical analysis, and machine learning concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

- Snowflake certification.
- Experience with Snowpark.
- Knowledge of dbt for data transformation and modeling.
- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
- Exposure to Databricks and modern data engineering platforms.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong technical problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Good understanding of data engineering best practices and scalable data solutions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical implementations.
