About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Lead with 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance. The candidate should have practical knowledge of ROC and MCA portal filings, GST and TDS compliance, audit coordination, and financial statement preparation. Knowledge of e-commerce billing and accounting will be an added advantage.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Practical knowledge of ROC filings and the MCA portal.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Experience with audit coordination and preparation of Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss Accounts.
- Working knowledge of Tally Prime or other accounting software and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of e-commerce billing and accounting will be preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, sales and purchase entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle ROC filings and MCA portal compliance,



including applicable statutory forms and returns.
- Manage GST and TDS calculations, filings, payments, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely completion of applicable statutory compliances and maintain proper documentation.
- Handle general audits, statutory audits, and internal audit requirements.
- Prepare financial statements, including the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, expenses, vendor payments, customer receipts, and other financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and outstanding balances.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with expense tracking and management reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and compliance documentation.

This is a full-time, completely in office role based in Park Circus, Kolkata.
