JOB DESCRIPTION – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with 4–8 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, and month-end/year-end closing activities. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including, ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, customer reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, including provisions, accruals, and depreciation.
- Ensure timely filing and compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Prepare GST returns, TDS returns, and supporting schedules in coordination with tax consultants, where required.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on overdue balances.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide necessary schedules, documents, and supporting records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal financial controls.
- Review financial transactions and identify discrepancies, errors, or unusual entries.




- Maintain proper documentation and ensure accurate and timely accounting records.
- Prepare MIS reports and other financial reports for management review.
- Support process improvements to enhance accounting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- M.Com, MBA Finance, or CA Inter qualification will be an added advantage.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance applicable to the business.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial data analysis.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or other ERP systems.

- Reduction in accounting errors and outstanding receivables.
- Successful completion of internal and external audits.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
