Job Description – Field Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Field Support Engineer to provide onsite IT support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth functioning of IT infrastructure at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and basic network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Perform hardware upgrades, replacement of faulty components, and preventive maintenance.
- Support operating system installation, software installation, and basic troubleshooting of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Troubleshoot LAN connectivity and other basic network issues.
- Attend and resolve service requests within defined SLAs.
- Coordinate with the service desk and technical teams for escalations and unresolved issues.
- Maintain service reports, update ticketing tools,



and ensure proper closure of tickets.
- Provide technical support to end users at client locations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Diploma or graduate in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, or Field Support.
- Hands-on experience in desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, and LAN troubleshooting.
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as per business requirements.
- Ability to work independently and resolve technical issues within defined SLAs.
- Prefered candidates with own vehicle. (Fuel reimbursement will be provided)

Pay: ₹280,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
