Job Summary

Responsible for setting, operating, and monitoring Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines to manufacture precision components as per engineering drawings, dimensional specifications, and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate VMC machines for machining components as per production plans.
- Perform tool setting, workpiece clamping, and job alignment.
- Load and execute CNC programs; make necessary program corrections and offsets.
- Understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, and machining tolerances.
- Select and set cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures.
- Measure components using Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Check first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Monitor machine performance, tool wear, and machining quality.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Maintain production records, tool-life records, and inspection reports.
- Follow 5S, safety procedures, and quality standards.




- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to achieve daily production targets.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of VMC machine setting and operation.
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming and G-code/M-code.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining processes.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls is an advantage.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

Experience in machining automotive components, precision engineering components, or other manufacturing parts.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
