Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Principal Architect with 10–15 years of experience in architectural design, project management, and technical coordination, preferably within F&B;, restaurants, cafés, retail outlets, and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in architectural design, façade development, space planning, technical documentation, and BIM workflows, along with the ability to lead architectural teams and manage multiple projects from concept design through construction documentation.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, design leadership, and experience coordinating with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams, preferably on projects within Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities1. Architectural Design & Development

- Lead architectural design and development for F&B; outlets, restaurants, cafés, retail stores, and commercial projects.
- Oversee concept design, schematic design, detailed design, and construction documentation.
- Review and approve architectural layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, façade designs, and construction details.
- Ensure architectural designs meet functional, aesthetic, operational, and client requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on building materials, finishes, façade systems, and architectural detailing.
- Ensure design consistency and quality across multiple projects.

2. BIM & Technical Coordination

- Oversee architectural BIM modelling and documentation using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Review BIM models, shop drawings, construction drawings, and technical submissions.
- Coordinate architectural designs with MEP and other relevant project disciplines.
- Identify and resolve design discrepancies, coordination issues, and technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, drawing requirements, and documentation procedures.




- Guide the team in maintaining accurate architectural models and project deliverables.

3. Project Management & Execution

- Lead multiple architectural projects from design development through construction documentation and execution support.
- Plan and monitor project schedules, design deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
- Review project progress and ensure timely completion of architectural deliverables.
- Resolve design-related issues arising during construction and project execution.
- Ensure project documentation meets approved design requirements and quality standards.

4. Team Leadership & Quality Control

- Lead, mentor, and supervise architects, BIM architects, architectural draftsmen, and designers.
- Allocate tasks, review team deliverables, and monitor overall productivity.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure accuracy in drawings, BIM models, and technical documentation.
- Establish and maintain architectural design standards, workflows, and quality-control procedures.
- Support technical development and continuous improvement within the architectural team.

5. Client & Consultant Coordination

- Coordinate with clients and consultants to understand project requirements and design expectations.
- Participate in design review meetings and technical discussions.
- Present architectural proposals, design solutions, and technical recommendations.
- Review client feedback and ensure necessary design revisions are implemented.




- Maintain effective communication between the architectural team and project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent recognized qualification.
- 10–15 years of relevant architectural experience, including experience in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong experience in F&B;, restaurant, café, retail, and commercial architectural projects.
- Proven experience in architectural design development, façade design, and technical detailing.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
- Good understanding of architectural BIM workflows, coordination, and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, shop drawings, materials, finishes, and construction methodologies.
- Experience managing architectural teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent design review, technical problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working on Saudi Arabia and GCC projects is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Saudi Building Code and applicable local authority requirements.
- Experience in F&B; brand rollouts, restaurant fit-outs, retail developments, and façade design.
- Knowledge of Navisworks, SketchUp, Enscape, or other architectural visualization and REVIT.
- Experience coordinating with international clients and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Ability to manage projects independently while maintaining design quality and delivery timelines.
