Position: Duty Manager
Reports To: General Manager / Front Office Manager

Job Summary

The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the hotel's daily operations, ensuring excellent guest service, coordinating with all departments, and maintaining smooth and efficient hotel functioning.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Supervise daily hotel operations and ensure smooth departmental coordination.
- Handle guest complaints, requests, and escalations professionally.
- Monitor Front Office operations, including check-in and check-out procedures.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Security.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and maintain hotel service standards.
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, attendance, and performance.
- Handle VIP guest arrivals and ensure personalized service.
- Prepare shift reports, maintain records, and communicate important updates during handovers.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.




- Support revenue generation and operational cost control.

Qualifications & Experience

- Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Previous experience in Front Office operations is preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and guest-handling abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and PMS software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Qualified appearance, discipline, and a guest-focused attitude.
