We're looking for an experienced Video Editor (Long-Form) who can think creatively, solve storytelling problems, and deliver polished work—not someone who simply assembles clips.
Requirements
As a Video Editor at Solaris Studio, you will:
- Edit Long-form YouTube videos with a strong focus on pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
- Perform professional colour correction and audio cleanup.
- Design motion graphics and simple animations using Adobe After Effects.
- Export and optimize videos for multiple platforms.
- Collaborate closely with our creative team and implement feedback efficiently.
- Maintain organized project files and consistently meet deadlines.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Strong understanding of:
- Colour correction
- Audio cleanup and mixing
- Motion graphics
- Export settings and video compression
- Ability to receive feedback professionally and work through revisions.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating professional client work is required.
Preferred
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience editing content for creators, agencies, brands, or podcasts.
Technical Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A high-performance desktop or laptop capable of handling professional editing workflows.
- Stable, high-speed internet connection.
- Reliable power backup.
- Availability during agreed working hours.

- Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST
