Are you an experienced BIM qualified with a strong understanding of Australian construction standards and documentation practices? Integrated Design Studio (IDS) is expanding its team and looking for a talented Senior BIM Architect with 6–10 years of relevant experience in architectural BIM and Revit.

Key Requirements

- Australian NCC Standards: A strong working knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and its application to architectural design and construction documentation is essential.
- Australian Construction Knowledge: A well-versed understanding of Australian construction methods, materials, building systems, assemblies, detailing and documentation practices.
- BIM & Revit Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Revit Architecture, BIM modelling, documentation workflows and project delivery standards.
- Architectural Documentation: Proven experience in preparing and coordinating detailed construction documentation for medium- to large-scale residential, mixed-use or commercial interior projects.
- Australian Design Guidelines: Familiarity with the Apartment Design Guide (ADG) and its application to residential projects will be an added advantage.
- Revit Family Creation: Strong experience in creating, modifying and managing Revit families is essential.
- BIM Coordination: Understanding of BIM coordination, model quality control, clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination workflows.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/BIM 360 and Navisworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, coordinate and review architectural BIM models and construction documentation for Australian projects.




- Work closely with Australian architects and consultants to ensure drawings and models align with project requirements, NCC provisions and relevant Australian standards.
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications and consultant information to deliver accurate and coordinated documentation.
- Review BIM models for accuracy, consistency, constructability and compliance with project BIM standards.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary models and assist with clash detection, reporting and resolution using industry-standard BIM tools.
- Prepare and manage detailed architectural drawings, schedules, Revit families and construction details.
- Support BIM quality assurance, peer reviews and continuous improvement of internal workflows and documentation standards.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, manage priorities and deliver work within agreed timelines.
