Job Title: QA Engineer

Location: Surat, Gujarat

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to test web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and software integrations. The candidate will be responsible for identifying defects, validating application functionality, developing automated tests, and ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate should have experience in manual testing, test automation, API testing, and database validation, along with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Test web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and integrated systems.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Test mobile applications on Android and iOS devices.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform API testing using REST APIs and validate JSON requests and responses.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using appropriate testing frameworks.
- Validate application data using SQL queries and database tools.
- Identify, document, track, and retest software defects.
- Investigate issues using browser developer tools, application logs, and API responses.
- Test authentication, user permissions, error handling, and application workflows.
- Verify integrations between applications, databases, and third-party services.
- Conduct cross-browser, device compatibility, and responsive testing.
- Participate in release testing and post-release verification.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve defects and improve software quality.




- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and automate repetitive tasks.
- Use AI-assisted tools where appropriate to support test case creation, test automation, and defect analysis.

Required Skills

- Experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
- Understanding of frontend and backend application functionality.
- Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Practical experience with at least one testing automation framework, such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or Maestro.
- Experience with REST API testing and JSON validation.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and application integrations.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write clear test cases and reproducible defect reports.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Exposure to Flutter application testing.
- Familiarity with Next.js, NestJS, ERPNext, or the Frappe Framework.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Experience testing e-commerce applications, payment gateways, checkout processes, and order management workflows.
- Exposure to Shopify, marketplace integrations, and webhooks.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and application monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing or development tools.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
