Job Title: Quality Engineer – Welding & NDT
Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 4+ Years
We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with expertise in welding inspection, NDT, and quality documentation for our manufacturing operations in Raipur.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of ASME Section VIII and Section IX codes and standards.
- Must have NDT Level II certification in UT and DPT.
- Perform welding inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Prepare Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
- Conduct welder qualification tests and maintain related records.
- Prepare and maintain quality documents, inspection reports, and technical records.
- Coordinate with production and welding teams to resolve quality issues.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, preferably in fabrication or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of welding processes, inspection methods, and applicable codes.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
