We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to handle the safe movement, loading, unloading, and storage of materials within the warehouse. The operator will use a reach truck/forklift to move pallets, organize inventory, and support efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently to move pallets and materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, racks, and designated storage areas.
- Place and retrieve pallets from high-level warehouse racking.
- Follow warehouse layout, storage procedures, and material-handling instructions.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of the reach truck and report defects immediately.
- Ensure materials are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate movement and storage of inventory.
- Follow all company health, safety, and warehouse procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Assist with picking, packing, loading, and general warehouse activities when required.
- Report damaged goods, unsafe conditions, and equipment issues to the supervisor.
